While browsing the web for some inspiration, I stumbled upon the cutest little favor idea.
Why not Lollipops? Unexpensive, Sweet, and when so beautifully wrapped, they become a talking piece.
The stickers can be customised with a monogram, date, logo, or a simple message.
I love them.
These genious Lollipop wrappers are created by Meg from Olio Designs. She does not have a website yet but if you are ever interested in getting some for your bridal or baby showers or any other event, send me a message and I will put you in touch with her.
You made them in school when you were a kid so have fun again creating them as unique invitations. They are adorable for birthday parties and not to mention affordable. Use a full size standard scrapbooking sheet measuring 12" X 12". Look for sheets that have an interesting pattern on one side and a solid color on the other. Mail them in a 6" square envelope and your guests are going to have fun reading and playing with the invitation.
What a unique way to present such an ordinary and common treat. I've used unique bowls and containers for nuts, but this time I wanted something different for a special occasion. Each guest was able to grab a beautiful cone and eat away. They are so simple to make and add a great touch of color to your table.
Simply find your favorite scrapbooking sheets with a color and theme to match your event. Standard sheets are 12" X 12". I simply cut mine in 4 even squares and made 4 cones per sheet, making this project quite inexpensive. If you are worried about the food touching the paper simply line them with parchment paper.
These cones are also cute for holding candies or popcorn at a child's party. Use your imagination!
Get your kids to draw on white matte wrapping paper using crayons or markers and customize it to suit the event. Write HAPPY BIRTHDAY or personalize it by writing the recipient's name. I am sure it will stand out at the party and everyone will be impressed!
Instead of a traditional small menu which is usually tucked into the napkin, why not make the menu the main attraction? You can print a design or color which is carried throughout the event. You can easily have them coated in plastic at your local copy and printing center which makes a wonderful favor. They will be reminded of the great party every time they eat breakfast on it! Don't forget to personalize them with the name and date.
I printed mine on an 11" X 17" cardstock because my printer can take larger sheets, but they work great with an 11" X 14 " cardstock.
